I still stick by Ronaldo because of his sheer talent and the way he strikes fear into any defender. Ronaldo's going thru a stage similar to Joe Cole 2 years ago, too much emphasis on trickery and not enuff on 'end product'. But as soon as he gets himself into the swing of things, he'll be awesome

ojne good performance does not mean rio should be made captain imo he has to keep this up now vs wigan and villa he was excellent and the same could go for today but he was hardly tested in those games. however its good to see rio proving his critics wrong - you just cant doubt a quality player like him or scholes.



imo if he keeps this up he could well be stand in skipperinstead of ruud because unlike ruud rio can come forwad from the back and it doesnt affect his game as much.

Overall, we started the match with no real DMC. Scholes Giggsy and park are all attack minded. It is a risk to choose such formation but United took it well and with Garry and Rio's contribution to attack, it was all United in WBA's half. Rio's attacks and Park's improvement in defending were 2 positive signs of the day. I watched most of Chelsea's recent matches. They are not at their best form but they win somehow. It won't be like this forever, so there would be a chance if we continue playing well and win.It seems that we are finding some ways to live without Keano.
